I can't remember if there was a question about moving the springs over the
axles on this forum or on the Silver Streak part of Tom's site. In any case, I
have wondered about doing it myself and never found the time. When I dropped
off one of my tires to get it fixed at the local garage, a center, tire
patching and general fix anything that rolls place I asked them about moving
the springs to the top of the axles on our 1969 Sabre, 19 foot. He said he has
done it before, it takes at the minimum 2 hours (130.00 bucks) and he can do
it Wednesday. So, I will let you all know how it goes. I am betting that it
costs more, but it will be worth it because I am always afraid of knocking off
my dump valve on a rut in the middle of some mountain road.
