Most will say that you can't get them filled with out the OPD. That false, 
you need to check the law because not all states adapted the OPD requirement 
yet. I live in Georgia and the state doesn't but some service centers want 
fill it, but the propane place such as AmeriGas will. I have one tank with 
OPD, the other isn't. Florida does require it and we go there quite often.
