I have a 27 foot 1970 AS.  I had camping world install a new Suburban.
I made a mistake thinking larger BTU would be better.. I had to install 
extra heat ducts to take away the extra heat from the heater.  It would 
turn off and stay turned off because of high heat cut-off .
Stay with the same BTU's as the original unit.
