I sure appreciate the replies. The good
Dr.(Gerald)gave me an idea about a rivet to use that I
am not aware of. The "rivnut" - I made a search at the
website and didn't get anywhere. Is there another name
for it?
Also I am considering a standing 1x4 (finished nicely)
from floor to TV height fixed to the wall at several
spots to hang my LCD TV on. I am not a structural
engineer - but I feel that would eliminate the wall's
weight bearing significantly.
Rambling on here - really wrote to thank you all for
the suggestions and find the name of the rivet.
