Michelle - just another thought along those same line... I put in a 
Pergo-type floor and although it looks good and seems in add some 
insulation to the floor, in retrospect it is probably too heavy and I'm 
thinking cork would have been a better choice. The cork comes in 
several styles and colors but the stick-on squares would probably get 
pretty dirty in the seams. It was fairly pricey too but, there you 
go...
