Today I had the tires removed on our '72 Trade Wind, so I can clean and 
paint the rims.  I asked if the guy could tell the age of the tires.  
He looked at the numbers and said, 1985!  These are GoodYear tires with 
age cracks everywhere.  And we used it this summer for a 120 mile trip!
