[VAL] Finally, something works

I've run into temporary stone walls on everything I've touched on our
Trade Wind lately, but today things went differently.

I had been working to get the oven going again. The regulator was
stuck in the "Pilot Off" position. I soaked it for two weeks and
occasionally would attempt to push the knob in. Finally, today, it
gave way just a little. I kept working with it and finally was
successful.

I had removed the two pieces of tubing at the back of the regulator in
order to get PB Blaster inside the unit. I replaced the tubing, turned
on the gas and attempted to light the pilot. I fiddled with it for a
few minutes and was beginning to think it was not working. I turned
the control to 200 degrees and the oven took off with a nice gentle
puff! Didn't even have to adjust the pilots. I warmed it to 350
degrees and waited till it cycled off. I waited till it cooled a
little, and then it cycled back on again. I checked the chimney at the
roof, and it was putting out warm air. Success! Finally.

Now to get back to the furnace and electrical problems.
