[VAL] battery storage

 Now that winter approaches the Rockies I am thinking about storage 
for my deep cycle battery for the winter. In years past I have removed 
it, put in on a wooden shelf in my furnace room, and plug it into a 
battery charger for one day a month. 
  This year I was thinking about just leaving it in the trailer and 
plugging in the trailer for a day once a month. How do others on the 
list store their battery for the winter?
