[VAL] waste tank woes

Thanks to all of you who responded to my query about
repairing a polyethelene waste tank out of my 73 Land
Yacht.  I accidentally deleted the last response in
which someone kindly gave the website for a type of
adhesive that is particulary effective for this type
of repair.  If that person sees this, I would
appreciate you re-sending the info!

I took the tank to a local company in Portland that
does plastic welding.  They quoted me $175 for repair,
and $450 to fabricate a new tank.  At that price I'd
rather carry around a bucket!  I'm now leaning toward
an epoxy repair job, but will get estimates from a
couple of companies (All-Rite and Inca Plasics) on
having a new tank built.
