Steve,

Pick up a copy of Airstream Life and decide if it is worth it to you.  I
like WBCCI and VAC because of the people you meet.  The rallies are also
worthwhile for the people you meet and the opportunities to see places
you might not think about. In addition, especially the El Camino Real
Unit, there are a lot of vintage oriented members with restoration help.
 I don't find the dues ($77.00) to be expensive for the new friendships
we have made.

You get out of organizations what you put in.  If you don't like to camp
with friends then you won't like the rallies.
