Re: [VAL] removing silicone
Our 1960 Traveler had clear (turned brown) on several of the seams
on the rear end cap. I tried everything, and the only thing I found
that worked, although took several applications, was Permatex gasket
remover available at automotive stores. You still have to scrape, I
used a paint stir stick.
