[VAL] 1965 Caravel-generator

I plan to use my AS when I show my Labs this fall and I've noticed that the  
places that have camping say no hook-ups.  Can anyone recommend a  generator?  
I don't know a thing about them.  Also I'm afraid of the  gas heater and have 
not attempted to light it.  Do you think an electric  heater would be safe 
and not over load the electrical system if plugged into the  outlet near the 
sink?
