    Tom, Uwe and all,

    Is the gas light that Uwe references at this web site
http://www.gas-lights.com/paulin.html the same today as it was when my
Caravel was new in 1969?  If so, I won't continue to look for an "original"
light and just pick on up new.  Also, can I assume that the model most
likely to have been installed is the one painted white instead of what
appears to be the plated ones?

    What appears to be to only location in our Caravel is just to the left
upon entering.  That bulkhead houses the side of the Dometic and continues
up to the overhead locker providing a hidden path for the 'fridge exhaust
vent.  That's the only place providing the room for the light and a means of
getting the copper line to the light without being run outside the
cabinetry.  

    Other '69 Caravel owners, am I correct about this location?
