Alan,

Probably not a FAQ on this subject, but there are a few of us who use 
vintage vehicles to tow our trailers.  I am included.

The trailer hitch for my Lincoln was fabricated at a shop here in 
Orange.  If you are near I will let you know the name and location, I am 
very happy with their work.
