[VAL] Cleaning Interior Walls?

 I have scrubbed and cleaned the interior of my  "new to me"  '84 Excella till
it sparkles.    She is in perfect original condition and everything seems to
work but  I've noticed if I put my hand on the upper walls and ceiling it
feels tacky.    I  was wondering what might be a good / safe product to wash
down the interior to remove the tacky feel and not damage the surface?
Thanks to this list for all the wonderful information for a "newbie"  A/S
owner.     In a couple of years when I am going to try to retire I hope to be
able to join in on some of the trips and gatherings.
