Other than the discoloration you would have a real issue with galvanic 
destruction of the your aluminum trailer. The condensate from the "vintage" 
ac units contains copper, which if allowed to run down the sides of the 
trailer eventually could "eat" a hole in it. Not sure how much of an issue 
it would be with the more current ac units. One possiblity would be to have 
a drain pan fabricated and the carefully run the drain line down the 
interior of the trailer, concealing it in a cabinet. I have seen this done 
on a 68 Ambassador with good results.
