My strike plate is worn on my 1971 Airstream and have not been able to find  
a replacement.( even tried Inland who after explaining my need in detail sent 
me  a non fitting plate.
I remember someone installing a dead bolt lock and this my solve my  
problem.Can someone refresh my memory about the installation or if it is even 
a  good idea. Thanks
