My F-150 lock cylinders, not the door handles, are temperature 
sensitive also but work better when it's warm!  The driver's side seems 
to be the worst but the passenger's side acts up too.  I was thinking 
my key was going bad, but I tried another key, and it did the same 
thing.  I'll try the lube business and see if I notice any difference.  
After all, it worked great on our '72 Trade Wind handle and lock.
