My first step was to pull up the carpet the previous owner had laid on top of 
the plywood floor. I did not know at this time about the floors or the leaky 
windows but suspected the carpet had been put down hastily to make the sell! I 
was right. Both ends had holes big enough for my chihuahua to get through lol. 
I filled them with the insulation that comes in a spray can and exspands. The 
other windows that leak had not damaged the floor yet but defnitly on the way! 
I had used clear silicone and sealed the ones I thought were leaking in 
december then I was gone for two month and after the recent heavy rains I see I 
have much more work to do yet.
