Any idea if the current Airstream company actually owns the rights to the
Torpedo or are they in the "public domain"? Even if they were in the public
domain, any trailer built (from scratch) from them probably would not be
considered an Airstream by the WBCCI of Airstream. I suppose if someone came
across an original set of purchased plans, Airstream would have no choice
but to allow it to be called an Airstream.
There must be some lawyers among us.
