Jim,

   Were these Marathons on your Bambi when they blew?  I just bought a set 
of Marathons for my '61 Bambi.  I have read several posts about blowouts, 
but I figured the light weight of the Bambi would be okay.  Am I being 
overly optimistic (read foolish)?  I really wasn't sure what else to get. 
The Bambi was switched to 14" sometime in its life.  Are you putting the 
bias ply Towmasters on 13" rims?
