Tom - I've been using two EU2000i's in parallel for over three years.
A big chain to the front steps holds them secure when using one or two 
together.

Why front steps?  Puts the Gens farthest from the bed at night if running 
the AC.  Short walk to refuel - my 2000's only get about 4-5 hours under 
load, 8 at half.  And my theory is if I can look out the front door and 
see them I feel better if in a strange campground.

Other than that I rely on my insurance coverage to handle any theft.
