My Globe Trotter has all copper wiring, and was made at the Ohio plant early
in '66. My Overlander, also made at Jackson Center, but in the last half of
'66 has all aluminum wire (which I will be replacing with copper). Since
your '67 has a combination of copper and aluminum it would appear that
Airstream used whatever type was available. Using what was available seems
to have been the policy in regard, not just to wiring, but with appliances
too. For instance, there were several different brands of furnaces being
used in '66 Globe Trotters even if they had the same floor plan and were
built at the same plant.
