Ken, If memory serves, I tried to use a household unit in the door of my '62 Tradewind...the door was too thin. I ended up biting the bullet at an RV place, but it wasn't all that bad. Around thirty buck I think. The alternative, would have been to make an extra fat escutcheon on the inside to make up the slack. Mark in Modesto
