Re: [VAL] Re: window question

Scott
I assume your talking about the Vista View windows?
The long oval ones, with the panel that slides to cover them when you don't
want the sun to shine in?
If so, there is an aluminum ring, oval to match interior window pane, there is
a gap in the ring, normally at the bottom. You can gently, I say gently
because you want to be careful and it's somewhat of a pain in the rear to
remove. You also don't want to get it to bent out of shape, makes it hard to
get back in. Once you get it removed, take a scribe or a pocket knife and
clean the crud from around the interior window pane. If you have a couple of
suction cup dent pullers or something similar you can put those on the
interior window and get it loose. Installation is the reverse.
One other thing. Make a note of the position of the retaining ring, and which
side is exposed to the interior. Some have a grove on one side. Also take your
time. If your patience's start to wear thin, take a break or you'll bust the
interior window.
Good luck
Bobby
