My '67 Overlander's steel step may be similar; email me off-line if a
picture would help.

The linkages on my step are held to the outriggers with one big rivet on
each side.  Seems like O heard InlandRV.com sells those outriggers;  He
might also the step.  If he does not, I think a competent metal shop could
make you a new step if you could come up with pictures on how it supposed to
look.  The outriggers are more complex because they have a slot in which the
linkages slide.

If originality is not critical, you may consider bolting in a later model
aluminum step.
