Joy, I would also suggest looking at the Yamaha inverters:

I especially like the EF2800i, light weigh (64 lbs), quiet (60-67 dba), and
fits in the back of a pickup with cover-16.7" high. I plan to buy one for
fitting under the cover on my F-250 SD. Then lift the cover and tailgate to
fire up, plug in the a/s power cord. It should fire your ac and charge the
battery.
