John,

I just read your post and I'm really sorry you're going through that which you
are going through.  Better the trailer than a (good) person or your best dog
though.  Hopefully, the good stuff left will help resurrect a few others of
it's ilk, which would have possibly been left un-restored for the want of
parts.

I watched a friend drop a 17th Century hand blown glass dome for a
one-of-a-kind 'skeleton' clock.  He cried real tears...not about the monetary
loss, but the historical one, and I did the same for him.  I really appreciate
your taking a position of global responsibility for what happened and wish you
all the best.  I feel for you, brother.
