    All,

    Speaking of awnings, I'm trying to determine what brand awning my
trailer had.  The only giveaway is one remaining lower cast aluminum
bracket.  It has a footprint with two 1/4" mounting holes at the long end
that's 2 5/8" X 1 1/4" with two 1 1/2" long, tapered legs protruding from
the base centered on the base.  These legs have a 1/2" vertical gap between
them and are drilled for a 1/4" fastener to fit through.

    Would this be a Carefree or Zip Dee part?  I'd like to replace with
whatever was original as the mounting holes for both brackets are in the
skin.  

    There are casting marks on the good side that read  C1  in the lower
left corner and 2  in the upper right corner.

    I'd also be interested in talking to anyone that might have a vintage
1969 awning for sale that took these brackets.
