[VAL] Door Lock

Last weekend the striker for the door lock on my 1987 Excella (not vintage
yet) failed. Apparently that lock was discontinued because of the exact
failure that mine had: a broken striker.

Any suggestions on what or how to replace that lock? Removal of the lock
mechanism has left a large hole in the door. The old lock even set in a
larger frame.
