Patti, you could then readjust the hitch to lower the back of the trailer to level as soon as it is on the street so it tows properly. I sometimes have the same problem with my driveway. Only takes a minute to readjust using the tongue jack to take the pressure off of the torsion bars. Jim Greene ' 68 Tradewind
