Do you mean cut off the existing plug and install a retrofit TT plug?

The adapter is molded as one unit so I wouldn't be able to change the
wire gage. I could cut off the 15 amp plug and install a TT plug like
suggested above. That way the 'original' cord/plug could remain intact.

Airstream must have used the 10-30 plug in in a 'non-standard' fashion.
Our manual says to hook into "electrical service that accepts the
three-prong grounded plug" and "Always make certain that the trailer
park service is 110-115 volt, not 220V". Seams like Airstream wired it
the same as a TT-30 but opted to use the 10-30 plug for some reason.

Agreed, I may just go this route to be safe.

I'm somewhat of a purist, so I was hoping that there just might be a
company out there that makes specialty adapters.

Lampert Hitch (long time WBCCI members) in Denver has them and replaced
the connector on my Yukon to match the trailer. Dr. J, you're a valuable
resource on this list, thanks for taking the time to respond!
