Re: [VAL] New Vintage Owner Needs Help

hi wanda
prior to my new floor installation, i had looked into the kentile 9x9 but
was told by two retailers that they were out of business. i found no other
9x9. i purchased from home depot the 12x12 comp vinyl which were available
in a wide variety of colors. i had see the 12x12 cut down by a fellow ASer
on his web site (arlen manning) he had used a manual vinyl tile cutter. i
thought that looked like a lot of work so having a very nice table saw with
an accurate fence and carbide toothed blade, i opted to cut them on the
table saw. i made a few cuts and found them to be very accurate and i
thought i was happy with the quality of the cuts, however once glued down
the edges showed that they were fairly rough and i would not use the table
saw again. just for your information if you decide to cut the 12x12.
good luck
harry
