    After you compound , especially if you cant finish polish with the
cyclo that day , take a bit of  paint thinner on a clean rag and wipe down
the area , particularly around the rivets and the edges , and clean out the
pits , then wipe clean with a dry rag while the thinner is wet . This will
prevent the black from streaking over your area if it rains and get the
black out of the pits which will make the shine better and keep the pits
from oxidizing as fast . Once the black dries on , its harder to polish
back off . Water works  too , wash it after you compound , just make sure
you dry it too . I fold up the rags after I use them on the cyclo and use
the clean parts to wipe the thinner on , just use rubber gloves so you dont
absorb the thinner on your skin .Some pits and scratches just arent going
to completely polish out whatever you use .
     Funny how the trailer starts looking bigger when you start polishing!
