Mary,

Nice to hear from you and all the good info about DC.  You must be the
"resident" Unit member! ;)

Seriously, lots of others have joined the DC Unit *because* the group has a
load of vintage Airstream owners.  With the formation of the DC Unit the
members have sort of a "vintage group" of sorts without the formality or
confines of guidelines, rules, etc. that would govern them in a way sort of
like the WBCCI Intra-Club, Vintage Airstream Club.

This is just "my understanding" of yet another reason that the DC Unit has
members from all over.  AND, they truly do like to get together for some fun
and good times which is what Airstreaming and the WBCCI are all about in the
first place.

I'm sure you might be able to get your other Unit members to give you the
honorary post of "resident" DC Unit rep. ;)
