There is a special place for the jack to go. NOT on the axle, but under neath. I think it is about a 3" square, and maybe marked with a J ? At any rate they are located under the main support beams, in the case of my '73, behind the rear wheel. If you put it anywhere else, you may damage expensive things Daisy
