Yes , the wood work is out , the whole inside was out to be reinsulated and
rewired . The end caps arent to bad to get out if you wanted to repair with some
fiberglass cloth on the back side .They are harder to get back in with the
insulation and all , takes a helper or two .You might be able to fair it in if
you put it on face side (cloth reinforcement) if you used bondo to fill it and
fair it in . I would use a Napa ( martinsenior ) product called fiberstrand it s
got some short fiber in it and is stronger than regular plastic filler .
