New Airstream doorlock to fit '73 Soverign --  $600+

Repair of Old Airstream doorlock to fit 73 Soverign $200+

New Bargman L-400 lock    -- ($71 + shipping)

Time, tools, blood and sweat -- NC.

I can save several hundred dollars by just replacing the door lock.
