Re: [VACList] Re: Patti's interest in A/C options

now THIS makes sense... the usual roof top unit in my opinion is more of a
"spot" a/c solution when used in the ~$1-2 million units as seen on Wheel
Estate. After all, the ac unit for a city bus is not found on the roof, it is
built into the back or rear wall of the vehicle and is part of the engine
compartment.

In a trailer as seen in

behind that $35,000 Volvo 710, an ac unit as described in the quoted portion of
this message, could easily be placed in the locker space below the floor.

Certainly, I think that it would take such a unit to cool that 45 to 60' unit
with its slideouts, etc.

Here is another example of such a low dollar Class 8 puller with a "decent
sized" Airstream hooked on behind it <lol>

just think of it, 450hp and 1600ft lbs torque on the ground with a single axle,
DOT considers it an RV what with the built in fridge, two bunks, running
water/sink, etc...

we had a long discussion on the MilitaryCamping elist..with several threads.
very enlightening.
