There is also the possibility of an alergic reaction to the latex.  This and
a reaction to the talc or other powder are not that unusual.

Non latex "exam gloves" are also available.

You could also try the cheap, poorly fitting, not very durable light weight
polyethelyne gloves too.

To see if the problem is with the powder on the gloves; you could put on a
pair and wash and dry the outside, then dust with corn starch and turn
inside out.  Just be sure you wash and dry your hands before putting them
on.

If it is the latex, switching to a non rubber (latex) glove would confirm or
eliminate that factor.
