Elisa, won't the 6" strip with the grommets in the awning rail beat up the finish on your trailer when it flaps in the wind when towing or otherwise? Doug Rowbottom attached hooks to his awning rail and grommets in the awning he attached to the hooks to put up the awning. Jim Greene ' 68 Tradewind
