[VACList] VACList Tow Vehicle Tire Pressures

simply stated, my tires last seemingly forever because I run them at the max
pressure stated on the tire. regardless of whether towing or not.
low pressure as stated already, destroys tires. always keep them - if necessary,
OVER inflated. the handling is better and the tires do not heat up. Also, make
sure that your tires have the weight carrying capacity for BOTH your tow AND
about 50% of your trailer weight.

iow, err on the heavy/over inflated side of the equation.
I learned all this when I went thru a full set of brand new Michellins on my 70
Polara back in 72 while towing my Overlander from LBB to OKC.

aar, this is what has worked for me for that many years of living in and pulling
classic trailers.
