In my opinion> unless you install an R.O. (reverse osmosis) unit you better 
not drink the water. When we were in Mexico we used the local water to shower 
and kept AZ. water in our tank for brushing teeth etc. and drank only bottled 
water.
A sure fire way to ruin a trip is to get Montisuma's Revenge.> not sure of 
the spelling LOL!
