When I bought my 79 Ambassador, the A.S. DEALER told me the older Tekonsha 2030 Mark 12 with the big toggle on the front were the best for 70's A.S.s I had one then which controlled the Vacuum system on the 79. I found one in a thrift store after I bought the 74 safari. They both worked/work perfectly. AlanT Phx AZ
