THAT IS precisely what I had on my 67 Overlander but if you are using a front
(tubed) or a later bat wing TV antenna, you might want to consider tapping into
the elements of that instead.  however, the whip with spring mount, was clipped
into the top/rain gutter of the front roadside window.  reception was always
lousy!
