Re: [VACList] Univolt Hum

Jim,

Do you *need* the Intelli-Power converter to be able to use the Charge
Wizard?

I have a 1995 34' Classic FK Excella 1000 which has 2 house batteries. I
really don't know - haven't had to look for it yet - what kind of converter
is there now but I'm going to assume it's the original. The previous owners
told me they had good batteries and they were which was enough for me at
that time. Since I've got my brand new B I G garage to house all of our
'things' now I've kept the Airstream plugged in continuously and I'm
wondering IF I'm doing any damage to my batteries by doing so. Would you
happen to know?

Did Airstream come up with better converters in the mid-90's versus what we
used to have in our 1969 Ambassador model? I know that old one had the
"hum" which I slept over. But I've slept in over the road tractors and that
reefer back there never bothered me either. ;)

Tom

PS: what is a considered a good price for *both* converter and charge
wizard? thanks.
