That should be the polarity light for the AC you are seeing.
If the light is on, the polarity is wrong. There have been
some emails of the past that say this should be change out with
a GFI switch/plug. The reason, if the light bulb is burned out
and the polarity is wrong or there's a short, that whole 
trailer becomes hot.
