Exactly, that's why I don't recommend using them on an Airstream.  At 3x the
cost of an Olympic rivet, plus you have to use a special puller that has a
dual action head to keep the snap ring in place.  If you are off by 1/6th on
the grip gauge length, the stem will either stick proud or be recessed.
Plus, you can never get a smooth head with a Cherry Rivet.
