Re: [VACList] Replacement water heater

Tim,

I don't know which model to tell you to buy. But I will suggest that you go
with the gas water heater for which you can then purchase the 'hot rod' I
believe it's called. This 'hot rod' screws into a port on the water heater
and has an electrical line that you run inside the trailer where you can
plug it in or switch on the 110-120 AC power. You can use *both* the gas
and the 'hot rod' for very fast recovery time for hot water although you may
find that you don't need to do that. Running your water heater on AC
instead of LP once hooked up in a campground or boondocking with a small
generator will cost you less than if you just had the LP alone.
