John & Donna: I just went thru the same process and after some much 
appreciated input from members of the group I went with the Goodyear 
Marathons for my 1969 25 Ft. Tradewind (duel axle).  I have been to Arizona 
with them and all I can say is no problem so far.  The trailer rides very 
nicely with less sway.  I tried to get tires that were less than 6 months old 
but ended up with tires that were about 14 months old.  From what I 
understand, this may somewhat reduce the life of the tire.  I got load range 
C which everyone recommended for this size trailer.  I'll let you know if 
something goes wrong but hopefully all will be fine.
